Health care is the single most important issue for most Americans, yet 51 million people forego a considerable amount of influence in shaping our nation’s health policy by not registering to vote. COVID-19 has made these issues painfully salient, with voter registration down by 70% in many states. Join the Ash Center and the Center for Public Leadership in recognizing Civic Health Month and for a discussion on how healthcare workers are deepening civic engagement through voter empowerment, including how high levels of civic engagement can drive more equitable health outcomes. Panelists include: Dr. Deborah Turner, League of Women VotersProf. Parissa Ballard, Wake Forest University School of MedicineDr. Alister Martin, VotERDr. Liz McKenna, Johns Hopkins?????
